Hi my name is Jack and I am just a sweetheart. Very mellow and loving looking for my furever home.

I was rescued from a shelter in KY and transported to TN to my present foster home.

I am HW neg, current on all shots and neutered.
Jack is one of the nicest dogs we have ever fostered. He is able to blend easily with the pack and likes to play with the others. He does not get "put off" by any refusal not to play either. He seems to like our cat and never complains about anything. He has become a great watch dog around here and can be very vocal when he sees something around here that he knows shouldn't be here like turkeys and deer and squirrels and an occasional groundhog. Jack is always prepared to defend his home. He is a lover not a biter and enjoys being petted and loved with great regularity. He would do well in almost any setting with children, with other animals or older folks. He is prepared to be a couch potatoe if that is required but he does like to run and catch balls as well although he has failed to learn that the ball needs to be brought back after he catches it. That's only a minor issue though. He is as smart as they come and would make a loving addition to any home. He is a fast learner too. He has won my heart and I know he will win yours.

Good with Dogs, Good with Kids

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.

Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
