Don’t let my age or short stature fool you (yes, my legs are short – the pictures don’t show it – my foster mom complains that I am always moving, and too fast, when I’m standing) – I am the life of the party – or the house! I’m personable, friendly and full of life. I’m not trying to brag, just share my good points, of which there are many! No one who meets me believes I am a senior. I am very active and I love going for walks and rides in the car, as long as it is with my human. I also love my down time. I love to snuggle and I especially enjoy belly rubs. I have claimed the papasan chair in my foster home as my personal bed and I will usually retire there after snuggle time at night or naptime. While I get along with most dogs, I do prefer to be the only dog, as I do like being the center of attention. I get along with friendly cats, but I can’t guarantee I won’t chase if they run J. I have not been around kids, so I’m not sure how I feel about them. I do not like being left alone, and will sometimes get into mischief. Baby gates don’t stop me – I will just jump them unless they are stacked one on top of another. My foster home has 6 other dogs right now and I am just not getting the attention I need. Could you be the one who could give me what I need? I know you wouldn’t regret it.
Feel free to email my foster mommy, Audra, if you have any questions or want to see more cute pictures of me: lieskie@aol.com
Thank you and WOOF!

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats
Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.
If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.
There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
