Hello everyone! My name is Skip and I'm looking for my new forever home! For the past year, I've been living in a shelter in a small farming town in Nebraska. This is probably a good time to tell you that I'm not a farming dog! So I'm now in Denver, CO hoping that this where my new home and family are located! I'm a sweet boy that wants to give you lots of hugs and kisses! Can you blame me...I've been in a shelter for almost a year! I have lots of energy and will love to play with you! I know some basic commands, but still need some work on some of the harder stuff. But I'm very smart, so if you will help me out, I'll be the best trained boy you could ever imagine! It is important that I have a fenced yard with a 6 foot fence, as I love to run and will run away if I'm not securely in the yard. I rode in the car from Nebraska to Denver, and did great with that! I had so much fun looking out the window and seeing the world! You forget how wonderful it is not to be locked up in a kennel all the time! I know this may be asking a lot, but I would LOVE to go home for the holidays! You see, its been such a long time since I've had a family to love me that I just don't want to wait any longer!!
