Hi, I am so happy to come to rescue. I was kept in a crate all the time by a hoarder,before the shelter took me. After a few weeks, my time was up, and a volunteer from eskie rescue came across me ,just in time. I am a spitz mix. Foster mom thinks I may be a baskimo, one of those designer dogs. A baskimo is a eskie/ basset mix. I have very short front legs and I howl softly,once in awhile. Or maybe a corgie mix. She says I am a very friendly,loving ,cute,cute boy and deserved a chance. I follow her all over ,just happy to be with her. Im a mellow kind of guy. I love my toys. I love to play tuggy with my toys,and if you throw them for me after you get them ,I will bring them back. I would be good with older kids. I dont have any aggression. Foster mom loves me, Im just a nice boy. She is not sure why nobody has snatched me up by now, as she thinks I am a good, young dog and someone is missing out.   Oh and so far I take bit too much interest in chasing the cat. Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
