Get your hip-hop shoes on and jam with Lil G from Georgia... Giorgio -- Gio -- Lil G -- that's me! Yo, check it out y'all... Lil G is in the house I'm a rappin'-- hippin'-- hoppin' Eskie Only 9 months old, I'm a sa-weet puh-ppee On the move y'all -- at only 6 months I was struttin' the highway with the wind on my curly tail Picked up by Animal Control and locked in puppy jail I got ascared of things there cuz my days were numbered Saved by ma girl Kim in the nick of time Now I got a good thing going in Kim's crib -- it's mighty fine I dig to cuddle and borrow kisses Kisses extra sweet cuz in da mouth--I'm missing a few teef Not sure why, but that just makes me wicked sweet I just wanna be your lap dog I'ze still a little ascared of somefings (like the vet), but I'm no biter, not me I'm a gentle soul... when I'm not playing Cuz I'm still a puh-ppee see I'm playin' up a storm -- they wanna chill out and lounge back and I wanna zoom around and get funky with my Eskie homeys Well I like to chill too, but I still need to burn pup energy so My new peeps needs to go to doggie school with me for manners But not rap school cuz as you can see, I'm a wicked natural at dat You know-m-sayin? Peace out. OK. We have no idea what Lil G is barking about, but he thinks he's a rap star so let's just go with it :o) This little sprite is actually fairly easy going for a youngster. Only 15 pounds, he is a small miniature Eskie with a slim build and a beautiful curly tail. He has a unique smile -- some of his teeth didn't come in, but he's still a charmer. He loves to cuddle and snuggle and give kisses and would make a very loving companion. Still a puppy, he has some learning ahead -- his "manners" have improved in foster, and he will need his adopters to keep up the obedience training and the housetraining (which has improved but he still has the occasional "whoopsie"). He does like to zoom around -- he is a puppy after all, but he's definately an "Eskie" puppy in his demeanor. He wants to be with his humans and involved in whatever they are doing. Gio gets along with other dogs, but we don't know about cats. He is on the shy side with strangers or at the vets, so we don't think he would be well placed in a home with young children. He is timid when he is in unfamiliar territory but is a very gentle soul when he's comfy and safe at home. So when you take Gio to new places, he needs you to be near him to keep him feeling safe. Gio is neutered, up-to-date on his vaccinations, and tested negative for heartworm. He is on monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention. He loves chewies and treats and will make a great lap dog as he matures -- he will likely remain a little fella... and he does have an affinity for laps (and rap... but that can always be trained into something more classical if that's not your thing LOL). If you're interested in becoming Lil G's "peep" or you would like more information, please contact Kim at: kkstewart2002@yahoo.com. Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state. To get me to you, we can do what's called an "Eskie Railroad," which is a group of volunteer drivers who will each drive a certain portion of the transport. (We always ask that you, as the adopter, help out by taking the final leg.) If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you may have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Please be aware that Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs. WOOF and.... Peace Out!
