Wynston
Sharing this with a very heavy heart, I had to let our remarkable Wyn go last night, Friday, February 24. This boy has left a such a tremendous void, sure wish I was only dreaming. Wyn had spinal issues and his mobility went through changes as he was with us. When he first came, he could walk on all four, Wyn's cute quirky walk, but all four. His mobility lessened through time and we all lovingly adapted. Oh, he was so independent, strong, smart and amazing!! I remember the time of me first trying to assist him and his beautiful spirit of "I got this" and the very first time with dignity of accepting my assistance. Wyn was Always included in everything. We tried different beds that would work for Wyn, finally found!! An important lesson learned ~ A bed is more than where you lay your head at night. His adorable, quirky little doll self, not only affected my life and heart, but also his brudders and sissy. His feathered brudder was enamored by him. When Wyn first joined our family, he would watch and watch his funny looking "dog" (bird) brudder. Not quite sure why he looked different, but acted liked one of them. They became fast friends and feathered one took over quick guardianship of Wyn❤ His other brudders Always looked out for him and would let me know if he needed something they thought I might have missed❤❤ His sissy, (who is 19 and blind), always made sure she was close by him at night, for sleeping❤ This is just a very short reflection in gratitude for our Wyn. Huge Thank you to ERU and Dyan for bringing Wyn into ERU family and our family And Mary Mahoney and Tom for driving and breaking him outta jail for me. Love without judgement........Candy Kane, February 24, 2017

Sophia
Sophia came to Eskie Rescuers when her beloved owner was no longer able to care for her. Sophia was our tripod pup - she lost her leg in 2009 when she chased after a car. But it never let her slow her down, and she could run and play with the best of them! She had an adoption pending, but Sophia had an ultrasound and was diagnosed with advanced bladder cancer. Sophia spent her remaining days at the R'Eskie Ranch were she was loved and cherished..........January 15, 2017

Sydney
The vet diagnosed Sydney with liver and kidney disease back in August. She said we couldn't give any pills for the neuropathy or back leg stiffness, because her kidneys couldn't handle it. About the only option was to admit her to a hospital for dialysis. But that wouldn't help with the legs or the confusion. The vet said when the back legs go stiff, she was in a lot of pain. We decided to put her out of her misery. It was a sad weekend at the Dionis house over the weekend. She was a great dog and I hope we gave her a good last year.......Chad Dionis, January 5, 2017

This is Lemon from MD. She moved with me to San Francisco last August. She was the best dog and companion I could have asked for......Yejin Kim, December 6, 2016

Smokey
Smokey came to the R'Eskie Ranch in 2012 when he was picked up from a DE kill shelter. He was adopted, loved very much, and lived his life out in the company of other beloved senior Eskies.......Noni Bodkin, December, 2016
