Last night I lost my baby boy Bailey, very suddenly. He was such a wonderful soul and my very first dealings with ERU. He was such a wonderful foster parent, all the fosters that came through my house he took under his Paw and made sure they knew the ropes and was very patient with each and everyone of them. being a puppy mill survivor he had trust issues, but he loved me and mama very much. He will be tremendously missed by us and his brother Casper........Arlene Young, April 12, 2021
Foxy was an eskie/shiba inu mix ERU saved from a high kill shelter in 2018. Shortly after she arrived, she had to have both eyes removed due to intense pain from glaucoma. Sadly, Foxy passed away last week. She was being long-term fostered in Florida and her foster found her deceased in her bed. She had been slowing down some lately, but still had a good appetite and enjoyed going out in the yard.........Helen Sanders (ERU Foster), April 9, 2021
It was a very bad week. I lost a very good friend. My heart is broken, but I had to end Delilah’s suffering. She was a very good girl, (except for the rocky start when she tried to kill poor Westie Cody - twice). She was the only dog without any bad habits. Never had an accident in the house and never destroyed anything. Thank you for having the pleasure of having her for the time we had........Brigitte Bryan, April 6, 2021
It has been a very sad heart breaking time for my husband Micheal and myself. We had to put Teddy down Monday April 4th 2021 it was so shockingly unexpected. I took Teddy to a vet appointment on Friday April 1st because I suspected he had an ear infection he had been rubbing his ears on the ground and had some drainage. He has had ear infections before no big deal. We elected to use the medication that last for a week because it had worked in the past and Teddy didn’t like us messing with his ears. Apparently he had a reaction to the medication, after 4 visits to the vet and emergency hospital over the weekend Teddy had declined he could not stand Monday morning he seemed to be suffering my husband and I took him to our vet Brodie Animal hospital to discuss best options for him. Unfortunately our vet Dr. Arambia believed something else was going on as he had been steadily losing weight and it was becoming a challenge to find foods that he would eat. We are still mourning his loss Teddy had become such a sweet loving goofy fur baby. He loved belly rubs, going for walks and car rides. He loved to play with his toys before we went for walks he always looked like Bambi on ice when he would play. He loved sitting in the back yard, chasing squirrels and he loved pizza. He has left the biggest hole in our hearts we miss him very much......Marie Murray, April 4, 2021
It's with great sadness. Mom & dad had to help Sir Buttons pass to the Rainbow Bridge today. Thank you to Laura Andriola and Donna Joyce for allowing us to love him in his last years. He will be greatly missed and our animals are going to be devastated when they realize he is gone. My heart is so devastated with Buttons passing. I laid with him in the sun at my vets office before he went to the rainbow bridge, because it was his favorite. My eskie Snowball was with him that died almost 2 years ago because he was so calm with her blanket it also had my scent. They took the blanket off when they were trying to save him and he made my vet put it back on him. I miss my baby so much. Hug them senior eskies tight .....Jessica Elizabeth, March 29, 2021 Click a letter to find an animal or view all.
