Please keep us in your prayers. I will be helping my precious Jackson to the Rainbow Bridge this afternoon. He will be joining our precious little hoochie mooch, his wife, Miss Heidi. He would be celebrating his 15 birthday Nov. 11. I made him a promise he wouldn't suffer. Today is the day I keep my promise. Sweet Charlie I didn’t know you as a puppy, for that was not my time I didn’t know you as a young dog, for that was not my time I didn’t know you as an adult dog , for it still wasn’t time. I met you as a senior and you were right on time. Do I wish I could have shared all the time with you? Of course I do, but it has been an extraordinary privilege to be your mom in the twilight of your life. You claimed me from the first moment we met and stayed loyal till your last breath. I’ll miss your squeals of joy to go outside and your “tick tock” tail that told me you were happy. The click clack of your paws shuffling across the floor is gone now and your catching rabbits on the other side of the rainbow, not just in your dreams. When you look down and see my eyes watering, it’s not because you were bad. It’s because you were so good my heart couldn’t hold all the love. This is my 13 year old Heidi. She came into my life and December of 2019. This darling 15 pound mini American Eskimo came into my home and took over. She was sassy, feisty, cuddly, bossy and very loving. She was the epitome of a Heart Bandit. She stole the heart of everyone she met. RIP my little princess until we meet at the Bridge. It's with a heavy heart I had to send my sweet 13 1/2 year old little Miss Heidi over the Rainbow Bridge Monday afternoon. Her health went down hill quickly since Sunday night. Sweet sleep little girl until we meet again. I adopted her and her hubby 14 year old Jackson Dec 14, 2019. Not enough time but I would do it again. She was a feisty sassy bossy mini that kept the household in order. She is greatly missed.
