Hi! I just wanted to let everyone know how great things have bee going for me! I've learned a lot of new things now that I'm out of that awful puppy mill.

I've learned that a leash isn't such a scary thing. I wasn't too sure to begin with but Foster Mom taught me that with the leash on I can go outside and see some pretty neat stuff!

I've also learned how to go up and down stairs. Foster Mom was really happy about that! She says I'm too pudgy to be carried up and down! But you know what? She did it anyway when I was too scared so I know she loves me!
I've also got this house training thing down pat. I like to go out and run around in the yard with the other furkids here.

I was a little nervous getting my first bath but Foster Mom let me know I was doing good and I knew everything was all right. I now like to get brushed too! Foster Mom says that even though my fur is shorter then most Eskie fur it's so soft that she just wants to touch me all the time. I'm OK with that!

I get along with pretty much everybody. New people I prefer to approach myself and take my time getting to know them. I get a little scared and back away when someone I don't know comes up to me and tries to pet me!

Right now I'm still feeling like I'm dreaming! I know I'm not but it feels too good to be true! When I first got here I spent all of the day lying quietly in my spot on the carpet. Now I'm comfortable enough that I only spend some of my day lying in my spot on the carpet! I know that I can go up to Foster Mom or Dad and get pets whenever I want them or I can go investigate a noise I heard. And every once in a while (don't tell anyone!), I go and pick up a toy to play with! I feel so silly sometimes!

Update: I just got my teeth cleaned. They were pretty dirty and worn, but they're still in good shape. Only 2 teeth had to be removed. So I'm good to go!

Well, that's what I've been up to lately! If you're looking for a mellow girl to take home and spoil, that's me!

Hi everyone my name is Bunnie. I am a 5-6 year old puppy mill dog. Yep I am straight off the "farm". Although I must tell you I am not your typical Puppy Mill dog. I was in good health when rescued. I was released from my prison because I would not breed anymore.

My history is I was purchased from one puppy mill by another puppy miller to live my life in a very small wire cage and just have litter after litter of pups. Well I showed them!! My body refused to have anymore pups after 5 years of being a baby machine. Having litter after litter has taken its toll on my teeth. They are horrible. I will be going for a dental the middle of December. at which time I hope there are a few that will good enough to stay. I am just learning all this "home" stuff. I am pretty good at housebreaking. I have had a few accidents. I am getting better. I am just learning what toys are. I don't get up on anything, as I am just so happy to sleep on a rug on the floor, that is a big change from a wire cage.

My front feet are splayed, which does not cause any problems. They just look a bit funny when my nails get longer. So please keep them short. I am great with people I have no aggressive tendencies. I have been debarked so I sound funny. Have you read about how they debark us puppy mill dogs? It is horrible. Thankfully with the new laws in PA they will not be allowed to do it themselves anymore. A vet will now have to do it. So maybe all my doggie relatives will be saved from that horrible procedure.

I am great with other dogs. I would also be fine with children. Since I am a small female I suggest you put your application in soon as we all know how hard it is to find a small female that is good with people and kids.
