Hi, Biscuit here!

I love and get along with everyone......I mean everyone!  I am  26lb lbs of complete love.  I especially love to be snuggled and cuddled.  I love to meet new people and rarely bark, even at strangers.  I am fine around other dogs my size or smaller, but I have to admit, I am a little nervous around larger, more dominant dogs.

I've not had a lot of experience walking on a leash before, so I do pull and will need a patient owner willing to work with me on this.  But I love my leash and going on walks, and putting a leash on and off of me is easy.  I'm a pretty smart boy and a quick learner, and I know "sit" and "beg", and I am house trained.

I love to follow my foster mommy around the house to every room.  I LOVE to be with my person, and I would make a wonderful companion dog.  I really hate to be left alone - I've already been abandoned twice in my short life - and feel the safest in a sturdy crate if you have to leave me alone for awhile.

Wow, one of the best things in my foster home is that there is food for me every day!  I don't have to wonder when my next meal will be or be so hungry, like I was.  I expect I could get a little plump if my foster mommy didn't measure out my food morning and evening!

Mommy says I am an angel dog.  I sure hope you will consider adopting me and giving me a wonderful forever home with you.  You won't be sorry!

Good with Dogs

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.

Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
