Bernie is approximately six or seven years old. She was adopted from a high kill shelter and has lived with me for more than five years. Bernie is low key, loves to be outside, seldom barks, and rolls over on her back for tummy rubs. Bernie loves to eat! She likes to lay by the food dish and eat a little now and then -- I've never seen her clean her bowl at one sitting. Bernie gets along with most dogs but seems content by herself. She is interested in the children who live in the area but I've not seen her interact with children. Bernie loves to ride in the car and loves it when I take the dogs to the river for a swim. She is active but not hyper. Bernie is not an escape artist nor does she wander off the property where I live. She is allowed outside the fence area.
