My name is Buffy but I'm not a "Valley-Dog". On the contrairy; I am a total lady. My owner passed away and now I'm looking for a laid back family that just wants to love me and take me for walks. I am very quiet, don't ask for a whole lot, I love to be petted and I also like to roll in the snow!

My foster thinks I have the biggest, eyes with lots of expression. But my teeth aren't so great. I may be getting a dental soon (whatever that is) but I hear it's suppose to make my smile even brighter.

I just got into foster so please check back on me soon. Heck, I may be adopted tho, so if I've caught your eye, fill out an adoption application so I can have a furever home again.

Good with Dogs, Good with Kids

Special Needs: Buffy has a heart-murmur. It might not be serious but has to be checked before any surgery.

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
