I am located in Oak Harbor, WA Hi my name is Ices. I am guessed to be a purebred 3-5 year old American Eskimo. I am spayed and up to date with all of my shots, I just got my 3 year rabies booster. I am learning a lot of tricks here at my house, and more every chance I get. I am housebroken, I will tell you I have to go potty by going to the sliding glass door. I can hold it when you go to bed or work but occasionally have had an accident when left alone too long. I would prefer a fenced yard but willing to do without if you like long walks and hikes. I am a great escape artist so I am going to need an escape proof yard, mainly one that I cant dig under. I am real good at that. But some chicken wire or a fence that goes under the ground should be enough to keep me home. I do not chew furniture but love my toys and cong balls, I have to have the round ones cause I destroy the stuffable ones within a week or 2. I am kennel trained and a great protector, I will let you know if anyone comes near the house or yard. I am ok with other dogs but I am a very dominant female and will try to let others know it if allowed. I do ok with my parents active household but would love an all about me home. I have come a long way since I was rescued, but still have a long way to go to be fully rehabilitated. Mom said that I should warn you though, I was abused before I came to my new home so I can be extremely fearful and timid around new people. They have found that it works best if guests just ignore me till I come to sniff you. Please do not jump at me, it scares me. Usually after 10 minutes of ignoring, I will be your best friend. Because of my past if I think I am in trouble and you reach for my collar I roll on my back and start screaming. My mom and dad are working very hard on this with me. I am ok with other dogs but because I am a very dominant female I would do best in a single dog home or one with a submissive male. Please no young kids, one older than 10 might be ok if they understand the responsibilities due to my background, though I would be happier with an older couple, or a single person who will give me all the attention that I crave (which is quite a bit). My parents will require a visit to meet me and get to know me, a home check will be done as well. There will be a small adoption fee for me.
