About Sunshine of Roebuck, SC Status: Available for Adoption Age: About 7 years old Weight: 32 pounds Gender: Female, spayed Housetrained: yes Available after 8/1/17, following her dental Prefers a home without young children SunShine is a very sweet female Eskie / Pom mix that was found as a stray. She's blind, but that doesn't slow her down a bit! She's smart and very loving, and looking for her forever home. She is microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, heartworm negative and on preventative, and on flea preventative. **Information about Sunshine from her rescue** SunShine is something special. She was found as a stray, and no one came for her. She is blind, however she gets around very well once she knows the 'lay of the land'. She does not need someone who will pity her or feel sorry for her. She needs someone that will protect her, care for her and help her grow into the loving heart dog that she was meant to be. At 32 pounds, she can still be carried when needed, but she is doing very well on the leash. I am trying not to carry her these days- as she really needs to learn where everything is. She is going to make someone an AWESOME friend for life.
