Logan is a beautiful bisque standard Eskie. He was a stray from Philadelphia. He adores playing, being with you and hanging on the couch. He likes to lay on the floor with his frog legs watching you in the kitchen, or doing whatever you're doing. He's super people friendly and fairly well behaved. He loves to go for walks and when he comes in, he was taught to sit and wait for his treat. He definitely is a house boy, hanging around, chewing on a nylabone and watching you. He is an amazingly sweet boy. He wants to play with my dogs, but sadly they won't very often. So if you know a playful pup, how great would that be! I've learned that he loves to chase squirrels, frogs, deer (which he really can't because he's in a fence) and probably anything that looks fun to chase. It seems like a yard is a new thing for him and he's loving it. He has a yard filled with fun on his must have list along with squeaky balls to chase. He a quick runner and needs a bit of room for laps, so no 20x 20's please! He is a very active pup, and will need something to do like playing with you or another dog. He also gives Eskie kisses. He loves quickly and deeply. Although he loves me, he adores men too. I am assuming his previous owner was a male who loved to roughhouse with him because he just is beside himself with men. He definitely likes to play a bit rough. He'll wrestle you for it in heartbeat if you let him or encourage him. He can tear up stuffed toys quickly and then will eat the fabric, so no regular stuffies. He doesn't bark obsessively like some Eskies, but he does have a very loud bark when his ball is under the couch, he's trying to entice you to play, or he wants the treat he smells on the countertop. He loves squeaky rubber balls and Outward Hound makes Invincibles that he loves. Check out the video with one of their snake toys. He was just neutered, and all up to date on his shots. He doesn't need a crate as he's not the type to get into trouble other than stuffed toys, and of course paper towels in his reach. He loves the couch and will bound on you in bed, then sleep next to it, after his belly rub of course. He's such a happy boy. He already knew sit, shake and down, maybe more. I can tell he was a very much loved inside dog before he was abandoned. I just can't imagine doing that to such an angel. He really wants a home again. If you have any questions, please email katana653@aol.com. He's really a love bug and I'm wishing for a wonderful home for him with lots of attention. Did I mention that he adores chewing on Tall Beams, Fake sticks, Deer antlers, Nylabones, and his teeth are amazing, probably because he does love to chew them! I believe he'd be great with older kids. no babies please, and definitely a friendly dog. He's truly a happy dog and I've promised him a perfect fur ever home.

Good with Dogs, Is Not Good with Kids

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.

Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
