Hi everyone, My name is Ben and I've just been rescued from a scary place called a shelter. They found me wandering the streets and brought me to the shelter where they gave me a place to sleep and something to eat. Oh, and a bunch of shots...that wasn't too much fun! But it was great to find some nice people to take care of me. I'm a really friendly boy - a little nervous when I first meet you, but I'll be your best friend after just a few minutes! I've been hanging around and playing with a bunch of other dogs and I think that's so much fun! I really need to find a new home that has some other dogs for me to play with! I'm a smart boy and I pick up new tricks and lessons pretty quickly. When the ERU resuce lady picked me up, she told me to "sit" and I did. Since I've been in foster care, I've learned the doggie door...I really like that! I can go outside whenever I want! My foster mom says I have to stop going outside just to bark though...but I can't help myself! It's so much fun! Since I have been in foster care, my foster mom thought I should tell you that I'm very much still a pup. I have so much energy and I LOVE to chew!! Even though I have lots and lots of toys to play with at my foster home, I still have found several pieces of furniture and plants that I have enjoyed eating up at my foster home. So any potential adopters should not get too attached to their furniture! Just kidding, but since I enjoy chewing furniture and plants so much, I really can't be left alone too long at this point. Foster mom says maybe I'll grow out of it someday! In the meantime, she's not replacing her furniture yet!! If you'd like more information on me, please contact Chris at cat7wmn@msn.com. Take care!
