Hello! My name is Smitty. My foster mommy says I am a big sweetheart. And she has had dogs forever, so she would know! I was a little bit nervous when I first arrived at my foster house, but I think I just needed to get used to being out and about. Now, I am enrolled in obedience class and I have learned sit, down and stay, and I'm working very hard on leave it, heel and come here. I live with my feline siblings, and we get along great. I was a little scared of other dogs when I first arrived, but now I'm getting used to them and I'm starting to enjoy playtime. When I'm at home, I like to snuggle with my mom, and I love when people come over and scratch my head. I am not super active, but sometimes I'm up for a game of catch or a little wrestling. I love having my tummy scratched, car rides and bones, and I am not a big fan of the vaccum. I am not sure how I feel about small humans yet, as I don't get to spend time with them. I am very excited about finding my forever family, I know I will love them for a long time! If you have any questions about me, please contact my foster mom at erikafeigles@gmail.com More about Smitty in OHGood with Cats Special Needs: Smitty was very over weight when he came to me. Careful portion control feeding and daily low impact exercise will help him continue his weight loss program. Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state. |
