My Name is BOLT. Guess why? My favorite thing to do is run in great big circle around the yard, then plop down in a heap. I have so much energy - I make my foster mom laugh a lot. After playing, I like to take a long nap. I would like to have another little dog to run and play with. I like following my foster mom around the garden and playing tug of war - I hardly ever win though. I am almost 5 months old and still working on potty training - but I am almost there; it takes me a long time to find just the right spot. I will sleep in a crate at night, but will also fall asleep on my foster mom's lap.
I have seizures and will need to be on medication for the rest of my life. This is why the people who bought me from the pet store couldn't keep me; they couldn't afford my medical care. I also have an underbite and might have to have some dental work done. I have to wait until my "grown up" teeth come in to see.
I like all sorts of people, but am still learning not to playbite, so small children might be afraid of me. I like cats, but most hide from me because I have too much energy. I hope a wonderful person with a big fenced in back yard and lots of energy to take me on long walks and play with me will adopt me.
