Oh....by the light of the silvery moon.  That's me.  Luna.  I'm round, fluffy, and have spots on my nose, just like the moon.   My sister (Bebe) and I were saved from a life in the hands of a puppymill breeder.  We were wisked away with 5 Eskipoos to a life that we were destined to enjoy.

I am a healthy butterball, and I was very brave getting my shots too.  Not even a wimper.  I am still very cautious of strangers but I'll come to my owner when called. I am also very, very smart.  I am learning to ring bells on the door when I want to go out and I already know the words "sit", "no" and "cookie" and, of course, my name!  And if I have something in my mouth that my foster mom wants, I'll spit it out for her.

I really love my "big brother" that lives at my house.  He is so much fun to climb on and pull his tail.  Although he is over twice my size, he doesn't ever hurt me or my sister.  I've mentioned my sister, Bebe, and I play with her constantly.  I'd love to go to a home with her too, but I'm prepared to go it alone if I have to.

I would love to go to a forever home that has another friendly dog and maybe some older kids (over 15).  Mom says I'll be a great addition to a family that knows my breed and can spend quality time with me.

I am a puppy!  I like to run, play, chew things, and explore.  I will have accidents in the house (if I am not watched).  I sleep thru the night but when I'm ready to get out of my crate, I'll definately let you know.  But, I won't squirm when I'm being held and I will shower you with Eskie kisses.  I'll let you know when someone is around that I don't know, too.  And I promise I will love you all of my life.

Good with Dogs, Not Good with Cats, Is Not Good with Kids

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.

Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
