I am Yukon. I am a very BIG boy. I am in great health, I do have a fatty tumor on my side which is hard to see. It is not a problem. I weight about 48lbs. I could stand to lose a few pounds. We could take some walks together and that would help me lose some weight. I am very sweet, and love everyone. Although I would really prefer to be an only dog. At my age I just dont care for having to share my family.

I Know you have heard all the sad stories of all us homeless dogs. My story is really not as sad as most. I have had a wonderful life. I have had excellent vet care for the last 13 years of my life. I have lived with the same owner the entire time. I even had dental care every two years. I am up to date on all shots. I even have almost all my vet records since I was a young.

See my owner lived in an apartment the entire time he had me. Well the landlord sold the building, and the new landlord would not let anyone grandfather us dogs in. We all had to go or the people would be evicted. Hardly seems fair since that is all I have ever known. But hey at least I am in foster care instead of a shelter. The shelter said because of my age they could not place me. They would have to put me down, So here I am waiting for a forever home.

Wont you please give me a home? I am housebroken, friendly with everyone!

If you're interested in me and would like more information, please contact
justus4250@aol.com or gina@eskierescuers.org. You can also visit our website and sign-up to fill out an adoption application and learn more about our adoption process. I'm staying in Pennsylvania until my new family comes along!

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.

Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
