My name is Bear. I'm an American Eskimo. I'm two years old, up to date on my shots and I have been neutered. If you are looking for an adorable white fluffy dog with tons of personality, super friendly and affectionate, look no further. I'm the guy for YOU. I bond with new people very quickly. I will be following you around like your best friend after knowing you for only minutes. I love being touched and having my belly rubbed. I'm very well behaved at the vet and I don't mind getting a bath. I'm good with other dogs too. My owner surrendered me because he said I was too possessive of my human mommy once a new baby came into the family. I lived with other children in the house and other dogs too without a problem. I've been told that I prefer woman to men. I was surrendered with my son Tigger. Tigger is only one and his mommy is a Beagle. He's so cute too. I do like being the center of attention and I crave affection. I'm only 28 pounds and fit nicely on a lap. I don't mind if you pick me up and put me on your lap but mostly I can jump up on my own. I'm house trained too. I don't have a lot of experience riding in a car but I'm sure I can learn. I threw up all over the ladies' car who rescued me from the shelter. She didn't mind cause I'm so darn cute. Anyway, I hope to find a new home soon. Thank you for reading about me. Woof, Bear. Update Jan 19, 2010: Bear is a real doll but needs some training. He's friendly and eager to please so he will learn quickly. He will benefit from formal obedience training. He likes to walk and walks well on a leash. He doesn't play with toys and seems uninterested in other dogs. Bear was recently introduced to larger dogs and he seemed fearful. I think he would coexist with another small/medium dog but I don't think he will play with them. He mostly loves people and wants his belly rubbed all the time. Bear is very, very smart. Bear is in the care of Rescue Ridge, Spring Lake, NJ telephone 732-681-3450. More about Bear in NJGood with Dogs, Good with Kids Videos of Bear in NJ:
