Allow us to introduce you to Magnificent Millicent, also known as Millie. We strongly believe that all dogs are amazing and worthy of love but there is something true special about Millie. She is equal parts down for an adventure while being perfectly content with snuggles and a movie. Throughout our time as Millie's family, we have watched her connect well with numerous dogs, cats (including kittens), and even guinea pigs! She has the heart of a nurturer and is very gentle towards smaller animals in particular. This post is incredibly difficult to make as we never, ever expected to have to rehome our sweet girl. She is the light of our family and has been a deeply cherished part of our lives since rescuing her in the summer of 2020. However, our lives are taking an unexpected turn and for her own sake, we feel strongly that the right thing to do is find her a new home. Our (human) daughter was only 3yr old at the time of Millie's rescue. From that day on, Millie knew her job was to be gentle and loving towards our kiddo. She does not bite or bark in anger. Millie loves to play outside in all weather, including the snow, and has a penchant for eating ice cubes! She would be happy in a home with *or* without other dogs. She walks well on the leash but may be inclined to pull slightly if excited by a fellow dog or nearby animal. She enjoys cuddling and believes she is smaller than she is, preferring to be in our laps when possible. She currently sleeps in a large crate at night time but sleeps well in bed too. We would love for her to have a fenced yard but wouldn't say it is a requirement as long as she is still getting the necessary exercise and activity. We are moving ASAP. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you are genuinely interested in our sweet Millie girl.
