Hi there my name is Snowflake and I am pretty sad at the moment. You see I am looking for a new home. My present family just does not have the time to handle the energy I have. I am 10 years young and would love to settle into my furever home very soon.

My present family can only keep me until the end of August and then I will have to find a foster home. I know there are very loving foster homes in ERU but I would rather just make one adjustment to my living quarters as there may be some other things I have to change.

So in the spirit of “full disclosure” I will talk about some of those things!

FIRST… I love to walk YOU on the leash. I cannot help it walking is so much fun and I know it is "me" time so I get SOOOOO excited.

SECOND…I love people and food but if you put them together I get excited and beg horribly for "people" food.

Ummmm well I think that is it. Now we can talk about my good points!

FIRST… I am all up to date and neutered.

SECOND…I am house-trained.

THIRD…I have never been aggressive just very playful.

FOURTH…I play well with other dogs. I had a dachshund brother once who was definitely the ring leader. My story and I am sticking to it. Also an Eskie sister when we lived in CA.

FIFTH…I ride well in the car. Lying quietly in the back of my family's SUV.

Then to top it all off I love to be petted, do really well at the groomers and ALL my vets have adored me.

So if you are interested in giving me that furever home contact Roxanne at jdr@frontiernet.net. She is the volunteer helping me find a home.

Good with Dogs, Good with Kids

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.

Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
