LOCATION: Framingham, MA

Hi there my name is PT and I am pretty sad at the moment. You see I am looking for a new home. My present Mom feels there is a better life out there for me. She works long days and does not have time to walk and spend time with me.

I am very protective of my Mom but once she lets me know the person is OK I settle down. I even have a very special bark that I only use when I see my Mom. I am not sure if I would do that for my new family but depends how much you will love me.

I am healthy and current on all my vaccines. My teeth are also in great shape. Well I mean why shouldn’t they be I’m only 6 years old and have many more years of devotion and love I can share with a new family.

I ride well in the car sitting in one spot and looking out the window. When at the dog park I give a little growl to others when I am on leash, Mom says it is just for show. Let me off leash though and it is play time with the others.

I do well with adults and love my belly rubbed. There is one little five year old girl that I am not too fond of…but she teased me and I do not like that.

I did grow up with another Eskie and a Border Collie and am very submissive with my toys. I love to play tug and growl when I do it but it is all in fun.

I will spin on my hind legs for treats and know all the commands. I love to walk and do really well on the leash but love it even more when I can walk without one. I listen very well to my Mom.

Good with Dogs, Not Good with Cats, Good with Kids

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
