Hi! My name is Berry. I am located in Pennsylvania. I lived with the same family my whole life but the landlord told them to get rid of me or move and they couldn't find a place that would take me so my mom took me to the shelter. She called the shelter to check on me while I was there until I went to stay with my foster mom. My foster home is nice, but there is another dog, even older than me, ( I am 11) and he needs to be an only dog, so I can't stay here forever. I am very healthy, have all of my shots and at my recent vet appointment, Dr. Brad said that he can't believe I am 11. I am so fit and alert and healthy he said that I have many good years ahead of me! I am housetrained, have never had an accident at foster mom's, love to walk on the leash and play in the yard. I only bark to warn you that someone is at the door or nearby. But besides that I am pretty quiet. Content to lay down at your feet, or if invited, up on the bed. I have had two baths already since I got here and didn't even mind! I love to have my belly rubbed and I like a good car ride! I think I would love a home with adults only. I would make a great companion for a senior or a single person who wants a great new buddy!! My foster mom says I am such a good girl she would keep me if she could. So maybe you can give me a loving forever home. If you're interested in me and would like more information, please contact justus4250@aol.com or gina@eskierescuers.org.
