Learn more about the American Eskimo Dog.
Dog location: Manchester MI Lily is a senior American Eskimo (est 10+ years) that found herself in a Michigan animal Control faculty, covered with fleas and mats. She was taken to a groomer, treated, bathed and shaved on her back area. Her hair is now coming back beautifully. She is heartworm negative and UTD on her vaccinations. Lily is a very healthy, petite girl weighing only 19 pounds, housetrained, good with other dogs, cats, and chickens and would fit in any quiet household without hyper dogs, and small children. She is left uncrated in our home during the day for 5-7 hours without any problems. We do crate her at night and she is fine with that. Lily does have some visual problems which make it hard for her to do down stairs but does fine otherwise. She is very gentle & quiet, is not a big barker (unless you leave her outside to long) and loves to cuddle.
