Skipper came to us from a shelter.  He was taken there as a stray.

Skipper is loveable, affectionate, laid back.

He is considered a purebred Mini American Eskimo.  He is approximately 3.5 years old.

Skipper came to us with some of his hair missing and is being treated for it.  He was seen by our vet on 10/8/10 and found nothing seriously wrong with him.  A lot of times dogs may pull their own hair out due to the stress of being in the shelter.

He was given his vaccines (boosters) and will have another set of boosters in three to four weeks.  He is already neutered.  He weighs 18.8 pounds.

I cannot advise you how he is around cats as we do not have cats in our rescue or home.

Eskies Behind Bars (EBB) Program
Skipper just entered the EBB program on 10/8/10.  This is a six to eight week training program.  The handlers will teach him basic obedience training and maybe some other tricks.  His anticipated graduation date is November 19, 2010.

The adoption fee is $250. The fee covers all vetting which includes vaccines, spay/neuter, HW preventative, flea preventative, or any other medical services needed.

The first step is to fill out an adoption application from our website: www.tlcrescue.com. After the application is received and approved, we will then schedule a home visit. I promise you, this is not painful. This is to see how he/she does in your environment and how he/she gets along with everyone and to answer any questions you may have.
