My name is Stella. I was picked up as a stray and taken to a shelter in Eastern Ohio and then brought to the shelter.
I am friendly, sweet, and lovable, energetic, playful.
I am not a pure bred American Eskimo. I am mixed with another breed. The rescue isn't sure exactly what the other breed is, but they are thinking MAYBE Border Collie. It's doesn't really matter because I'm very sweet and cute!!! I am approximately 2.5 years old if that.
I am healthy and current on my vaccines. I was already spayed by the shelter before coming to the rescue. I weigh 38 pounds. Perfect lap dog size.
I cannot advise you how I am around cats as there are none in the rescue. I am great with people and dogs. I LOVE to play. The rescue has a daughter and I was chillin on the couch and she used me as a pillow. That was fun. Everyone said I was pathetic. I don't know why. I think I'm just adorable.
Eskies Behind Bars (EBB) Program I entered the EBB program on 10/8/10. This is a six to eight week training program. The handlers will teach me basic obedience training and maybe some other tricks. My anticipated graduation date is November 19, 2010.
The adoption fee is $250. The fee covers all vetting which includes vaccines, spay/neuter, HW preventative, flea preventative, or any other medical services needed.
The first step is to fill out an adoption application from our website: www.tlcrescue.com. After the application is received and approved, we will then schedule a home visit. I promise you, this is not painful. This is to see how he/she does in your environment and how he/she gets along with everyone and to answer any questions you may have.
