Hi, my name is Apollo. I am a 5 yr old male Eskie. My owner left me at the humane society because he was moving and didn’t want to take me with him. It made me very sad. Then this lady came and looked at me one day. She tried to give me treats but I was more interested in checking for an escape route. The next day the same lady came back and put me in her car. We rode around a bit and I was looking at everything that went by. I’m not sure I’ve ever been on a car ride before.

Well we got home in the mountains a couple of hours later and there were two more like me and two very little ones and the best part was that they were ALL girls. Life with the girls is interesting. I kinda like the 7yr old cause she is quite and cute. The youngster is like a bouncing ball and wants to play all the time and the two tiny ones are never around. I’m still having a blast checking out my new surroundings.

My new foster mom brushed me for two straight hours cause I was so matted and then took me to the dog groomer two days later and I came back a big beautiful white boy. I sure felt good. Foster mom was all hugs and kisses from then on.

I am housebroken and crate trained. I like to bark and alert I understand most basic commands but very willing to learn anything that you would want to teach me. I would love to have my own human, hint, hint.

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
