Update: I thought I should get back to all of you to tell you how things are going. Now that I have become familiar with my foster home, I am a very happy eskie girl. In fact, I’m the life of the party. Although I was timid when I arrived, my foster mommy taught me that there is no need to be afraid. Now, I just can’t get enough belly rubs and pets from her. When she puts me to bed, she always scratches my chin and tells me that I am a very good girl. My foster brother and sister get a lot more exercise now that they have me as a playmate. We roll around and toss the stuffed toys. Did I mention that I like to chew on my bone? The best part of our day is playing chase in the snow. My foster sister and I bury our faces in the snow drifts and plow through that fluffy white stuff. My foster mommy does put me in the crate for a nap when she is very busy because I sometimes try to take her things. She is teaching me to play with my toys instead. Today some people came to visit. I went into my crate because I wasn’t sure if they would be friendly. When the lady gave me a treat, I knew she was very nice. If you would like an eskie girl who is ready to sit beside you and cuddle as long as you like, then I’m your girl. I may be unsure of you at first, but when you are nice to me, I will be your best friend forever. I would love to be in a quiet home with a gentle, kind person. If you are that person please e-mail my foster daddy Gary at glkelleysr@gmail.com More about Lucy of PAGood with Dogs Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered).
