Hi, my name is Shiro. That's "SHE-row", it means "white" in Japanese. I am a very social, 3-year-old boy that has lots of energy. I love walks or runs, whichever my human prefers.

I have even walked nicely beside a stroller. In fact, I live with a 10-month-old human and I like her so much I don't understand why my human tells me not to lick her hands! I also have been around other small children and I know to be gentle around them.

I like other dogs, too. Dog parks are my favorite. My room mate is a 3-year-old female mini Aussie and we get along well, we snuggle together every night. I think the only creatures I don't like are fleas. I'm allergic, but if you give my Comfortis, I'll be fine.

I know how to sit, shake, lay down, and I prance into my kennel if you just say "kennel". I like watching tv with my humans but I'll only come up on the couch if you say "up" and tap your hands on your lap. I'll get down if you point and say "off". If there's something I'm sniffing and you don't want me to, just tell me to "leave it". I might hide under the couch if I hear thunder, but otherwise I have a nice temperament. I'm house trained and I love exercise. I would thrive in a multi-dog home and I have lots of love to give.
