4/5/11 Update: Kodi has had some medical issues that must be addressed. He has a couple of skin tags that need to be removed, he is showing signs of early renal disease and he had an abscess of his anal glands. Kodi is keeping up his great spirits while we get him nursed back to health. Hi there! My name is Kodi and I am looking for a new home. I’m not sure exactly what happened, but my former family could no longer take care of me so I find myself looking for a new home at a time in my life where I want to feel safe and secure! But I am a happy and resilient boy and I’m really young at heart! I am super sweet and love to play and cuddle with my people. I love other dogs…there was even a puppy at my foster home and I love to play with him! We had a lot of fun and my foster mom said I was a fun boy to watch playing with the little baby puppy. Oh, and I get along well with birds too! There was a big bird at my foster home and I liked her and didn’t bother her at all. I’m just really easy to get along with! I am house trained and am very well behaved. So you wouldn’t have to worry about me acting like a crazy little pup! I ride well in the car too, so you can take me with you when you go out. You really couldn’t ask for a better friend and companion. The nice rescue people had an appointment set up for me to get my teeth taken care of, so I am in perfect shape with no health problems at all! I know I’m a little older but I want you to know that I’ll be the best friend you could ever want. I will love you and care for you and you won’t regret letting me become a part of your family – all I need is a chance!
