****** I am located in Carlisle, PA *****

Please notice my prevous family cut my hair all off. It is now growing in nicely.

ok now that I have become more settled here is the scoop on me!! I was surrendered by my original owners because they were attending school and just did not have time for me. I was kept in a crate much of the time because they were never home. I am quite fearful in new situations. However, once I know you....look out. I love to play. I am a great boy, but a big boy. I am a standard size eskie. I am pretty good loose in the house. Although I do love to chew up tissues, also got a hold of my foster mom's bra and decided to make it into a designer bra for her with new holes in it. She was not real happy about my handy work. So now I cant be left loose without her watching me. Although I am still a pup so what do you expect?? If you teach me what toys are mine and what toys are yours I think we can live in perfect harmony. I would like a slightly active home. I am not a couch potato. I love to play, so I need someone to play with me. I am good with other dogs. All in all, I am a good dog. I just need a few days to warm up to you. Which is typical of most eskies. If you give me a week you will be very happy with me. I promise!!

If you look closely at my pictures you will see my name should really be Linus. It does not matter how careful you are with me. I promise you I will find a mud puddle to get into. My foster mom says I am the only dog she has had that can find mud where there is none. My paws are always muddy when I come back into the house. I am her big mudball. LOL

Good with Dogs

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.

Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
