Hi my name is Snowee and I was rescued from a shelter in FL because of efforts by several rescue angels from different rescues. It was a true collaboration that got me from the shelter to a temporary foster until ERU can find me a permanent foster or better yet an adopter!

I love people, other dogs and my TOYS! I prance around and toss them in the air to show how happy I am to be out of the shelter and finally on my journey to a furever home.

I am cautious though and prefer you to approach me calmly if you need to pick me up. So I would be best in a home with older children that understand that.

I like to sleep with you in your bed and will even allow another dog to share it as well.

I am up to date on shots and HW negative but I still need to be spayed before going to my furever home. Right now the appointment for my surgery is 2/8/08 but you should get your application in for me so you can be approved to take me home and help me recover!

Update: 2/20/08 Well I have had a rough month. I was attacked by a dog and therefore was not able to get spayed as I had to have surgery to stitch up my bite! The good thing is I think I have met my new furever family. The person who took care of me during my surgery fell in love and so did I. Be happy for me I sure am!

I still have my spay surgery coming up and the expense of my dog attack surgery took a big chunk from the rescue budget so if you can help even a little that would be appreciated.

Good with Dogs

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
