Hi everyone!  I am Angie, a very smart, sweet and loyal eskie girl.  My family in KY of eight years gave me to a neighbor because they were keeping me chained outside and were moving away.  The neighbor took me in and wanted to keep me but they already had lots of doggies so I was surrendered to ERU.  I am now in Maryland and I am loving life.  I live with five other eskies and we all get along very well.  I like to stay by my foster mommy's side and I love my toys.  I LOVE to go on walks and for trips in the car.  I am completely housetrained and my foster mommy trusts me in the house when she is away.  I recently had my teeth cleaned and was seen by an ophthalmologist.  I have a small growth on my lower eye lid which will be removed before adoption.  I also have a slight limp when I run but it does not slow me down any.  My foster mommy will keep an eye on that too.  I am a wonderful eskie girl and my foster mommy is really enjoying her time with me.

If you are interested in meeting me please e-mail my foster mommy Heidi @ hortmeye@gmail.com

Good with Dogs

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.

Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
