Hi! My name is Bristol. I am a shy, sweet little girl that came from a Kentucky puppymill and it wasn't fun. When I first arrived at my foster home, I was very scared and very sad as I have not had much human interaction during my life. But since then I am learning to trust humans and really love my foster mom. When I see her, I get really excited and give her lots of Eskie kisses and jump up and down! I even let her rub my tummy now that I know she will not hurt me. I love to be held and prefer to be around people rather than being alone. Far cry from a few months ago!! I get along fine with the other animals in her home, (three Eskies) and have even started playing with one of them. I never knew that playing tag was so much fun! My foster mom laughs a lot when me and my buddy (Ricky of OH) are chasing after each other outside. I can run as fast (or faster) than the other younger foster she has!! We play "mouthies" with each other all the time so I would be thrilled with another 4-legged friend to romp with but YOU are my main squeeze. I am doing real well with the potty thing and learning to hit bells attached to the door, but I'm still crated at night. Actually, I love my crate. My door is open all the time during the day and I know I can go in there an take a snooze without any of the other dogs bothering me. The problem is that I am deaf so it has been hard for my foster mom to teach me these new things. I'm a very smart girl so it shouldn't take me long to get the hang of it and I love to be praised for being a good girl. My foster mom uses a lot of hand gesture and facial expressions and I really understand what she is telling me. I told you I was smart!! I am also very quiet which makes sense since I can't hear anything to bark at! I am a lap dog and extremely lovable. I give a LOT of eskie kisses so be prepared!
I am looking for my forever home and promise to be a loving, loyal pet to you and your family. With patience and understanding and lots of love, I will be just what you are looking for! Please email my foster mom (kstewart1701@gmail.com) and she will be happy to tell you all about me. Or, you can fill out an application at www.eskierescuers.org. Thank you for reading my profile! Love, Bristol
