Hi everybody!  My name is Bolt.  This little girl I know of picked my name...and boy did she get it right!  I'm like a bolt of lightening.  I LOVE to play and run!  I will chase a ball until I'm ready to fall over.  But, when I am finished playing, I just want to curl up on the couch next to you.  I love to be with people!

I hate to brag, but I'm a handsome boy.  I'm an Eskie mix...don't know what the other part of the "mix" is, but the result is my beautiful white and blonde coat, which is sort of hard to see in the pictures.  I love to get right in your face and give you some lovin'!  My foster mom is trying to work with me on that, but I can't help it--I just get so excited to see people.    

I came from this really crowded place in Tennessee...the people there were nice, but they just didn't have enough room for everybody.  My time was running out, so some nice people helped get me here to my foster home.  We don’t know much about my life before going to the shelter...but I have not had a single accident since coming here, so maybe I lived in a house before.  I get along really well with other dogs.  We don’t have kids here, so can’t say for sure how I would do living with them…but when we meet them while walking in the neighborhood, I’m very curious and want to go right up to them. 

I’m a busy boy and I think I’d be happiest with a family who likes to play and stay on the move!  Somebody who will take me on long walks, but then let me cuddle up on the couch with you afterwards.  I’m really a sweet and lovable boy—just wait until you see how my face lights up when you come home for work.  Email my foster mom at emilyebrame@gmail.com if you think I’m the right dog for you.

Good with Dogs

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
