Buddy and Sparky are 5 years old (DOB 05/07/07) & litter mates. Buddy is white with straight hair and Sparky is biscuit with a wavy, thick coat. They are pure bread & extremely energetic. Sparky is extremely intelligent while Buddy is just sweet. Sparky is great with kids & Buddy is a little more nervous. We have a cat they both love, however they bark at any strange cats or dogs entering their territory. They are great watch dogs. They chase birds, squirrels and chipmunks but have never caught any. Two and one-half years ago Sparky was struck by a truck (in his own yard) and suffered a ruptured tendon in his rear leg. It was repaired and nobody would ever know he was injured. Sparky also had his vocal cords severed (not by us) to stop barking, but he still barks very well. They both bark a lot & very much dislike delivery men. No one has ever bitten anyone. They can no longer play outdoors because I'm afraid someone will hit one of them. They chase cars in the yard if they are out, so they pretty much reside on the front porch most of the day. They love any sort of attention. Both are house trained. Even though they have never been abused, Sparky will wet sometimes when I bend down to attach his leash. They are due for shots next month and I will get them & have them checked again for heart worms. They each get Interceptor and Comfortis monthly. Due to health problems in the family I am unable to give the dogs the attention they disserve. We would prefer they stay together. They have been loyal companions since they were 4 months old and we would like to see them have a good home where they have lots of love, freedom and fun. We would prefer they be adopted together For more information please contact Jeanie at jeanniemtc@charter.net More about Buddy and Sparky of East TennesseeGood with Cats, Good with Kids
