Hi there. I am a beautiful eskimo-mix. I am tall and sleek and I have orange eyelashes (my foster mommy thinks that's the coolest thing). I am about 6 months old and already housebroken. I love my 3 foster brothers. They are helping me to be a puppy and to enjoy life. You see, I was rescued from a shelter in SC. I was scheduled to be euthanized but a fellow rescuer saved me at the last moment. I was so very scared when I first arrived at my foster mommy's house. I would shake and cower in a corner. But I am a very smart boy and I am learning that some humans are nice and they are not going to hurt me. I am starting to trust the humans here and I even let them pet me and brush me. I have come a long way fast. BTW - I don't have an aggressive bone in my tall sleek body!

I am waiting for that very special person/family to adopt me, someone that has time and patience to work with me and to watch me mature into a loyal, loving, trusting friend and companion.

Good with Dogs

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
