This precious soul was dumped at a shelter with several other dogs right before Sandy dropped more than two feet of snow in this rural town of Logan, WV (see picture below). Thanks to the efforts of many people ERU was able to save him and he is now here in MD safe and sound. We gave this little fellow (5 pounds) a BIG name as he needs to hold his own with the big dogs here. Brutus is settling in nicely and is a joy to have around. You can appreciate how tiny he is when you see his picture with my eskie Cyrus (the Great) (below). Brutus is an easy going little guy but he does have a few requirements in his people. If you want to adopt him you MUST have a lap for sitting in and a knowlege of advanced belly rubbing and ear scratching techniques. Ability to give pettings and a willingness to accept kissies is also a must. He is good with cats and other dogs, although cats may be baffled as to how it is possible for a dog to be soooo tiny. If you are interested in meeting him please e-mail me at hortmeye@gmail.com More about Brutus of MDGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state. Other Pictures of Brutus of MD (click to see larger version):
