Hi, my name is Snowball and I'm looking for a forever home.  I am a miniature American Eskimo dog.  I'm about 5 years old and weigh 21 lbs.  I am neutered, heartworm negative and up to date on all my vaccinations.

I may not look too much like a Snowball right now, that's because my former home/yard had LOTS of fleas, so many that they made my skin irritated and some of my fur fell out.  But, I now live with my foster family where there are no fleas and lots of good food.  My skin has calmed down and my fur is growing back real fast.  I am a little intimidated by the camera...normally my ears perk up.  I am kind of handsome, don't you think?  :-)

My foster mom tells me I'm a sweetheart.  I LOVE to snuggle in her lap and get lots of attention.  I am a gentle little guy and love grown up people.  I haven't been around children, so I'm not sure how I would like them.

I really love to play with other dogs.  I have three foster brothers, we all get along great and play for hours.  We bark a little and run around chasing each other, so a playmate would be great.  But, I could get used to being #1 too!

I love to be outside and explore.  It's so much fun to be in the yard running and playing with the others or just lying in the sunshine.  So, I will need a fenced in backyard...got to keep me safe and secure!

I am housetrained, but have also learned to use potty pads.  I'd personally rather go outside, but since my foster mom works, I try and make it easier on her and use the pads when everyone is gone.

If you are looking for a wonderful, loving and faithful companion...look no further...I'm your boy!  If you're interested in me and would like more information, please contact Jan: eskie89@gmail.com. You can also visit our website www.eskierescuers.org and sign-up to fill out an adoption application and learn more about our adoption process. Thank you and WOOF! Snowball of GA

Good with Dogs

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.

Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
