**** Adoption pending *****
My foster mom saved my life from a shelter in Dec of 2012.  She found me a great home where I was cherished.  Just two weeks ago, my owner passed away after a long illness.  So, I'm hanging out at the foster home again.  I'm current on my vaccinations and already neutered.  I'm 6-7 yrs old now and currently weigh 26 lbs (although my foster mom says I was just 16 lbs the last time she saw me).  So I'm on a strict diet☹️. Contact my foster mom with more specific questions about me at AngelERU@outlook.com.

Description from 12/2012:
Hi, I don't know where my old home was, but after a few weeks in jail, I'm free and living the good life.  My foster family has a few loud kids, a dog, and a cat.  I really like cats and the one here really likes me too.  We rub up on each other and lick each other's face.  Shhh, don't tell anyone that I even slept with the cat on the foot of the bed last night.

I know how to sit and stay and don't beg for food.  My foster home has this cool dog door that I learned in one day how to let myself out to potty and so proud of my independence.  I love to play with squeak toys, especially the ones without the stuffing.  I like to chew on big marrow bones and have the energy of a young pup!  I am not as much of a lap dog as I am a foot warmer.  I will curl up at your feet and contently nap all day.  My foster mom keeps telling people that I've never met a stranger . . . I wonder what she means by that?  Every person I meet is so nice to me so I just wag my tail and beg for attention and they instantly become my buddy!

*** If you're interested in me and would like more information, please contact Angel Merritt AngelERU@outlook.com.  You can also visit our website and sign-up to fill out an adoption application and learn more about our adoption process. Thank you and WOOF! Skippy

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.

Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
