Hi!

 

My name is Kiwi.  I was found as a stray with my buddy Fozzie in West Virginia.  We're both about the same age and we do everything together!

I'm an outgoing girl and I love everyone!  I love everyone so much that I jump up to get pets.  Foster mom says I could use some training to learn better manners though.

Foster mom & dad have large 4' x 4' pens that they built out of wood and coated wire.  They put us dogs in there when they're out of the house to keep us out of trouble.  Well, they found out pretty quick that I can scale the wire fence!  I do just fine in the backyard that has a wood fence.  Any fence with slats or an underground fence will be good for me but I'll probably be able to scale a chain link fence if I wanted to though!

There's a kitty here that I don't even seem to notice.

I'm kind of like a big sister to my buddy Fozzie and I would really like to go to a new home with him.  I understand that finding someone who wants to adopt 2 dogs is kind of hard so we may have to be split up.

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
