Hi!  I'm Lizzy!  I'm a sweet, friendly, submissive little girl who would love to lay in your lap all day long.  I play with toys and don't take up much space.  

I do have one quirk- I was adopted but returned due to a suspected seizure problem.  There was a toddler in the home and my "episodes" include snapping.  But my foster mommy and the vet have determined it isn't a seizure disorder, but rather just me liking my personal space.

Just like anyone else, if I think another dog is getting to close to me (whether I see them or not), I'll snarl and snap at the perceived threat.  I've never attacked, just defended my honor.  But just as a precaution, I shouldn't be in a home with small children.

But that's it!  I weigh 15 lbs and am 3 lbs overweight.  I'm working on my house-training skills (my foster mommy keeps piddle pads out in case I need to use them), and I'm current on all my shots & heartworm negative.  My previous adopter took me to the groomer right before I was returned, so my coat is shorter than usual, but I would normally have a luxurious coat.

Good with Dogs, Is Not Good with Kids

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
