Hi, my name is Macy and I'm looking for a home.  I would perfer an active family with children as I love to play and give kisses.  If there are dogs and cats in the family already, that's fine too, as I like everyone.  In fact, I've never met a stranger.  Everyone I meet is my friend and I will give kisses instantly.

My foster mom says I am crate trained, but she let's me sleep on the bed with her at night and I curl up in the middle of the bed and don't get in anyone's way.  The cats sleep near me too and that's fine with me.  I enjoy walks and proudly prance throughout the neighborhood looking for people to adore me.  I like to ride in a car and sit nice and still until we get to the park.  Then I have a hard time controlling my excitement.  I mean, come on  . . . the park.  I LOVE THE PARK!

I love to play with toys but I cannot figure out why my foster mom keeps throwing balls for me to bring back.  Why does she throw them if she wants them back?  I like to catch the balls but loose interest in carrying them around.

I'm a bit embarassed about my body right now.  You see, I've recently had puppies and I've lost much of my thick coat.  It will grow back soon enough, though!  The doggie jail doctor said I am about 3 yrs old and have beautiful teeth.  It's not nice to ask a lady her weight but my foster mom says I have to disclose that I am 22 lbs.

If you're interested in me and would like more information, please contact Angel Merritt: Angel@eskierescuers.org. You can also visit our website and sign-up to fill out an adoption application and learn more about our adoption process. Thank you and WOOF! Macy

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.

Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
