Hi everyone I'm Bolt and I'm so happy the kind people at ERU were able to save me!  The people at the shelter had deemed me rescue only because my head shakes so they said I needed to get checked out by a doctor and they couldn't do it.  Well my foster daddy took me to the doctor and they said I'm a distemper survivor and it's my eyes that are moving so I move my head to catch up with them. The doc said there is a chance I could live the rest of my life and this could be the only side effect from being a survivor.  He did however also say there is a chance that at some point I could start having seizures that are resistant to treatment but that there is no way to know.  Otherwise I'm a very happy and healthy young boy that is full of love and energy!  I love to snuggle w my foster parents and am very affectionate!  I get along well with my foster brothers and always want to play with them running around the house.  I also love toys and am picking up on fetch, still have a little trouble with the return part but boy do I love to play!  I follow my foster parents everywhere and am looking for a forever family that wants to include me in everything and welcome me into their family!  I'm vocal, like all my eskie brothers, but I'm all bark and am working on not barking to say hi to all the neighbor dogs.  As I'm young I don't know sit I do come when I hear my name but that's pretty much because I always want to be around people so my foster daddy tells me we're going to be working on the basic commands too.  Will you be my forever home?  Stay tuned for more updates!

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
