**** APPLE Is located in Carlisle PA. you would have to travel to Carlisle, PA to pick her up. We will not transport a puppy ******* *****9/2/08***** update**** as you can see from the new pictures, Apple has been gaining a little weight. She is much more active than before and would need a strong leader in her new home. She is very bossy and stubborn. Maybe because she was so sick and was babied so much now she is a monster pup. She likes to bite, she will run up behind you and bite you on the back of the leg. It is cute now but it wont be so cute when she is a year old. She does chew a lot. She ruined my "favorite" shoes last night, in less than 5 minutes. She also chewed through my car adapter to the MP3 player in seconds while in the car this weekend. As you can see from the new pictures, Apple loves the water. She had a great time on the beach. She still needs to go back to the vets for another check up to be sure everything is going fine. This past weekend she went camping and seemed to do really well. ************************************ *****8/14/08 Apple when to the vets tonight to check on her weight and to see if she can start to get her vaccines. Her current weight is 2 lbs 9 oz. she has really not gained much weight in the last month. Just a few ounces. She is not having any diarrhea anymore, but still not gaining much weight. Vet says she seems fairly healthy, just on the thin side. Her heart and lungs sound really good. he could not find any congential defects. UPDATE: 8/5/08: Apple continues to have some diarrhea issues and is having a hard time keeping any weight on. She will not be available for adoption for further notice. Won’t you consider sponsoring her? Her medical bills are mounting, with no real end in sight for now. However, we will not give up on this sweet little girl. Update 7/25/08: Apple has had some medical problems. she has had a bad bout of diarrhea and has lost a bit of weight. she went from 2 lbs 5 oz down to 1 lb 9 oz. she is back up to 2 lb 5 oz. Things are looking better for her. Her siblings weigh more than twice what she weights. I think she will always be very small probably in the Toy size range. However you can never tell for sure till they are done growing. Apple will not be released for adoption for a while yet as she is too tiny and ill to get her puppy shots yet. However if you are interested in her go ahead and complete and adoption application. Her adoption fee will be 500.00. UPDATE: 6/30/08: Apple is still about half a pound less then her sister. her current weight is 1 lb 13 oz this is the smallest of Jenna's babies. this one weighs almost half a lb less than the other two. Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered).
