Hi everyone let me introduce you to Snuggles.  There was a naming contest in which Judy Kramarich won.  So this little girls new name is Snuggles.  Which does fit her well.   She is a snuggle bunny!  

 

  I am a VERY young female eskie. Vet thinks I am about one year old.   I was found running around at a local school in CumberlandMd.   When she arrived at the shelter, she was very scared.   Nobody could get near her.   She arrived at the shelter on 10/7/2013  when I went to pull her from the shelter on 10/19/2013 she was getting a bit better and was friendly to the one shelter worker.      

 

I brought her home she was pretty friendly on the trip home.  After just one day with me, she has turned into a very sweet dog.  I can now do anything I want with her.  She is just scared of new things.  She would do best in a fenced in yard as she loves to run.   She does not come when called but part of that is she has no name yet.     

 

She has excellent house manners.   She has had NO mistakes in the house.   She also is a great bed partner.   She will curl up on the bed with you and will lie there all night long.   She will make someone a fantastic little girl.  Just give her some space the first few days.   She is a true gem!    I would recommend a home were there is not a lot of visitors coming and going.    

She would do best in a fenced in yard because she LOVES to run.

Good with Dogs

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
