Hi! I'm Suzie. I am good with other dogs and children. I am submissive and a bit shy, but will come when you call me and give your hand a tiny lick. I do know the phrase "sit" and the shelter evaluator said I need a home that will provide lots of confidence building and gentle leadership. Households that are loud and busy are not for me. I prefer the quiet life where I can snuggle with my owner.

I am starting to open up a little bit more and I am potty trained. I have been going to the dog park daily and love running around with the other puppies and playing a little bit. I'm not super interested in toys, but love cookies. I sleep on the bed at night and am crated during the day while my foster human is at work, but my foster says I probably don't need to be crated during the day, although I do find my crate to be a comfort.

I play with tennis balls at the park. I will go grab the ball and play soccer with it. I am considered a standard size eskie in height (just barely) and weight just 22 lbs. They say I am about 5 yrs old.

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
