Hi!! My name is Squee.  Yup, SQUEE!  I am a 9-month old female toy eskie who was rescued from a puppymill when I was only 12 weeks old.  I probably wouldn’t have made it if it wasn’t for some very nice people who saw potential in me and wanted to save my life.  You see, I was born with deformed front legs.  There is a picture of me down below when I was just a little one and you can see my funky legs.  Well, one needed to be amputated because it really just hung around  and the other needed reconstructive surgery to straighten it.

Currently, I walk on my back legs (I hop like a bunny) but I’ll use my front leg for support when I bend down to eat, drink, potty or do anything else that requires me to get down on all “four” legs.  I am hoping to get some therapy (like swimming) so that I can learn to use my three legs.  I am a sweet, playful outgoing little girl and I love all people!  I like other dogs and really would be happiest in a home with at least another dog as a play buddy.  I would be really lonesome without a friend and would LOVE someone who is home a lot.    And I really shouldn’t be around little children under 10 because I’m so  “special”.

I will be having a pin removed from my front leg soon and I’m getting spayed (whatever that is) before I get my new furever home.  BUT…you need to know that I have luxating patellas in my back legs (only grade 1 and 2). They don’t need surgery now and maybe never, but if I ever do, it can be rather costly.

If you want to learn more about me, or see my story from the beginning, check out my very special blog at  squeeandmeblog.blogspot.com.   Or if you are interested in an application or have more questions, please contact my foster mom, Kacey (she’s VERY nice) at:  k.laina.c@gmail.com   Because I am located in Northeast Ohio, my adoption will have to be within neighboring states.
